Students who earn an associate degree from St. Joseph’s are eligible to transfer and complete a bachelor’s degree at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, Nazareth College and St. John Fisher College in Rochester, State University of New York (SUNY) Institute of Technology in Utica, SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, Utica College in Utica, or Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. The RN to BS option has academic and economic benefits, students choosing this option may begin working as a registered nurse earning a competitive salary while completing their bachelor’s degree. - Earn an associate in applied science degree with a major in nursing at St. Joseph’s College of Nursing, accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE).
- Sit for the national licensing exam—our graduates consistently score above the state and national averages.
- Begin working as a registered nurse earning an excellent salary.
- Transfer to a bachelor’s degree program at one of several colleges.
- Time period for program completion can vary, depending on each student’s course load, career plan, academic performance and personal factors.
