Commitment to Nursing Ceremony

The Commitment Ceremony is a cherished tradition that celebrates students’ dedication to the nursing profession. During this annual event, students receive a pin that carries profound symbolism. The pin embodies the inspiration of St. Francis and signifies that St. Joseph’s nursing students approach their profession with compassion, reverence, and a commitment to excellence. It reflects their dedication to addressing the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of their patients and colleagues.

The solemn tradition, passed down through generations, represents the enduring spirit of our College of Nursing. It highlights the enthusiasm and pride in upholding the reputation for professional excellence and unwavering commitment that has defined every class of St. Joseph’s nursing students.
