Commitment to Nursing Ceremony

The Commitment Ceremony celebrates students’ commitment to the profession of nursing. This annual ceremony celebrates students’ commitment to the profession of nursing. Students receive a pin. The pin symbolizes the inspiration of St. Francis and signifies that St. Joseph’s nursing students practice their profession with compassion and reverence and strive for excellence in meeting the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of their patients and each other.

The symbol of handing down this solemn tradition represents the spirit of enthusiasm of our College of Nursing in maintaining the reputation of professional excellence and commitment, the hallmarks that have blessed all the St. Joseph’s classes that have preceded.
